Bedworth station, serving the Warwickshire town of the same name, was opened by the London & North Western Railway in 1850 on the Coventry to Nuneaton line.

The station was closed in 1965 when passenger services along the line were ended. However in 1987 British Rail restored services to the route and opened a new Bedworth station on the site of the original. None of the other intermediate stations on the route were re-opened. In the last couple of years two new stations, Coventry Arena and Bermuda Park, have been added to the route.

The new Bedworth, a basic unmanned station with bus shelters and public information screens, opened in 1988.
